The
island Hvar is situated between the
islands Brac, Vis and Korcula. It is the fourth island in Croatia, according to
the extent, and it comprises the suface of 300 km2 and its coast is 250 km
long. Today it has about 12 000 inhabitants who are mostly engaged in tourism,
but also in olive growing and viticulture as well as in processing of widely
